Explore the Depths with Hades Caving Club.
Hades Caving Club was formed in 1974 for workers at Rolls Royce and British Aerospace in Filton, Bristol. Whilst there are members still with a connection to Filton, over the years the club has expanded beyond its original base.
The club is a member of the British Caving Association and with our widespread membership,we are also members of the Cambrian Caving Council, the National Association of Mining History Organisations, the Council of Southern Caving Clubs and the Council of Northern Caving Clubs.
Hades is a founder member of the Forest of Dean Cave Conservation & Access Group.
We are a friendly, active caving club. We go on evening trips as well as social caving trips in some of our local caves in the Mendips, Forest of Dean or South East Wales.
Weekend trips: – in Yorkshire, Derbyshire, Wales or the Mendips.
Anyone can get involved, whatever their previous experience. New members join throughout the year and are always welcome. Feel free to contact us.
